Early treatment of new onset multiple sclerosis (MS) with interferon β-1b therapy leads to clinical benefits. Several risk factors may help identify epilepsy patients who may be at higher risk for psychosis due to their antiepileptic drug treatment. Topiramate is an appropriate treatment for epilepsy patients with comorbid migraine.
