Practice Guideline Update: 5 Important Facts About MCI

Dr. Wilner summarizes a newly updated practice guideline of the 2001 American Academy of Neurology guideline on mild cognitive impairment.1 MCI is defined as cognitive impairment with minimal impairment of activities of daily living not associated with normal aging.

Dr Wilner is Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and a staff physician at Regional One Health in Memphis, TN.
